Reinhard Wurtz, a burly and well known restaurant manager in Sydney, broke the mark of 16 set by Munich barmaid Anita Schwartz. He set the record at the Lowenbrau Keller, the German-style beer hall he manages. A Bavarian-born Sydney restaurant manager claimed the world record for carrying beer steins after lugging 20 of them for 40 metres. Reinhard Wurtz, 40, claimed the title for his adopted Australia and made no apologies to his folks back home in Friedrichshafen. TELL CITY - The Tell City Historical Society Museum at the corner of Ninth and Franklin streets in Tell City will be open special hours Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
